Jen was the Drummer in local band Dry Stone Wall, but switched to bass
shortly before the formation of HMN.
She is responsible for the depth of the HMN live sound and for sense prevailing when James and Simon's ideas get out of hand. |

What do you do outside HMN? Work, be with my son (I'm married to James), spend too much time on the net. Whom do you admire? Noam Chomsky, Justin Sullivan, Tony Benn, Paul Flynn, Mark Thomas, Nick Jones, Alan Bennett, Patrick Jones and Bob Bakker. What books and authors do you enjoy and why? Dodgy Sci-Fi / fantasy, some political stuff, history (not the Kings and Queens of England clichés) and anything on dinosaurs (they're not just for the under 10s). I'm also a member of the "forever hunting for enough shelves for the books" club. Which bands / albums are you listening to at the moment? As of 24/1/02 SOAD - Toxicity, Rammstein - Mutter, Muse - Origin of Symmetry, SFA - Rings around the World. Also, anything by Thin Lizzy, Pre '92 Queensryche, New Model Army, Manics and Manson. What was your favourite gig? To play, the August 2000 HMN gig at the British Hotel, Bangor, suffering from Flu. To go to, Thin Lizzy - Portsmouth Guildhall, NMA - Amser/Time, Bangor, Manics in Llandudno, August 2001 and Queensryche - Victoria Hall, Hanley. Where were you born? Arbroath, Strathtay, Scotland. What was the first album you bought? Bought for me - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, bought by an honorary uncle when I was 12, bless him. Bought by me - Jailbreak - Thin Lizzy.
